The PEO fibers had to be coated with platinum/palladium in order to be seen in the SEM. Each sample was coated in 5-10 nm of the metals. For this certain measurement, the solution was put into Cressington Sputter Coater 208 HR. It was put in the machine for 35 seconds at 40 mA( milliamperes). The coating was put on the sample at the top left of the machine. The solution is then placed into the same location. Finally, the coating process begins and SEM imagery can be established.
